Rules

Berlin fashion Film Festival (BfFF) recognises, embraces, and rewards great branded video content focused on luxury, fashion, lifestyle, and beauty.

With every edition BfFF introduces quality film productions to selected decision-makers from the advertising, fashion, and film industries, showcasing the films through a series of screenings, awarding winning work at the award ceremony.

Entries to Berlin fashion Film Festival are focused on films for clients from the fashion industry as well as personal projects showcasing cosmetics, skincare, women's wear, menswear, accessories, perfume, jewelry, watches, and footwear.

  • Final entry deadline: October 28, 2024

  • Shortlist TBA: November 3, 2024

  • Winners TBA: November 13+14, 2024

  • Submit 4 get 1 complimentary submission

  • Submit 5 or more entries in the same order and get a preferred rate of 20%

Emerging Talent Package

  • Our inaugural Rising Star category caters for talent aged 18-25.

  • Berlin fashion Film Festival extends young talent (with 5 projects or less under their belt) a 30% preferred rate.

    • This discount applies when fewer than 5 paid projects define the professional portfolio.

    • Just select ‘emerging talent’ in the entry form and the discount will be automatically calculated at the end of the submission process.

    • Please note: BfFF will confirm your previous work (via your website, Vimeo, and social media channels. If you are ineligible for this discount, you will be prompted to pay the full entry fee, or risk having your work withdrawn.


Winners & Award Show

The winners will be announced during the Berlin fashion Film Festival and online.

Berlin fashion Film Festival is a ticketed event. Submitting your work for the 2024 edition does not include access to the event. A separate ticket purchase is required for entry. Tickets will be released soon.


Eligibility

  • Entries produced after March 1, 2023 are eligible for submission to Berlin fashion Film Festival 2024. 

  • Projects which have been submitted in previous years are not eligible for entry.

  • Entries must have the explicit permission of the client and/or the rights holder. 

  • The Berlin fashion Film Festival reserves the right to disqualify any entry that may offend national, religious, cultural, or racial sensitivities. Please note that no refunds will be issued for completed submissions; however, you may update submitted media and credits as long as the entry period remains open. 

By submitting an entry, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements for participation.

  • An entry fee is required for each submission (the “Entry Fee”).
  • Please note that the Entry Fee is non-refundable for any reason, including disqualification.


To submit your work:

  3. Agreement to the BfFF Terms & Conditions
  4. Pay the Entry Fee using an authorized payment method. 

Please note that the BfFF's decisions on all matters related to the awards are final and binding in all respects.


Grant of License

By submitting your entry, you grant the Berlin Fashion Film Festival a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, edit, publicly perform, display, reproduce, transmit, sublicense, and distribute your submission in all media formats, whether currently existing or developed in the future. This license is granted in connection with (1) the Berlin Fashion Film Festival and its promotional activities, and (2) the promotion of future iterations of the Berlin Fashion Film Festival and formats of BfFF Kulturprojekte gGmbH.


Indemnification

You shall indemnify, defend, and hold the contest parties harmless from any losses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from any third-party action (a) alleging a breach by you of any representation, warranty, or obligation contained in these official rules; or (b) claiming that your submission infringes or violates any law or any third-party right, including any intellectual property rights.
