Short Synopsis: |
Not only the "creative" itself lies dormant in the craft, but also the often underestimated healing moment for the maker himself. Self-therapy. Creating in order to find oneself. Living in the moment instead of on social media. Daniel Wester has found peace through his woodwork: with himself and his environment. In the Swedish village of Skåne-Tranås, he built his own world. In the midst of the Swedish forests, he finds his daily inspiration for his carving art. He designs spoons and bowls - created to share food, to bring people closer together again. Architectual Digest Germany released the film as a tribute to the craft, the design that goes into it, and the creation of truly unique pieces. Unique and timeless - like their creators themselves.
