Short Synopsis: | "For all the things that are what they appear to be - true to the world if not to themselves." This opening line of the film raises questions about self-perception and objectivity. A person's kindness or meanness is recognized by their impact in the world, not by their own self-judgment. This film serves as an ode to the fulfillment of external expectations, highlighting how this alignment often brings comfort in an all-too-chaotic world. In Veiled, we traverse a surreal Paris where reality shifts between the familiar and the extraordinary. It challenges conventional notions of normality to highlight the importance of harmony between appearances and actions, offering a sense of order and reassurance. |
