Short Synopsis: | Khimia is an allegory, portraying the transformative process of the soul. Through the emblematic ritual that our characters partake in, we find the transmutational force of life, replete with all the potential experiences, lessons, and awakenings of consciousness available to us, once we truly listen. The characters in this film are symbolic beings seemingly out of a collective fable, representing the distinctive facets within an alchemical process of the essential self, including animal nature, eros, spirituality, and creation. In this realm, we navigate the story by submerging ourselves in its infinite non-temporality, that nonetheless returns us to our present moment. |
