Short Synopsis: |
Our film takes place in a 24 hour period, in several spaces and over several moments. The narration is based on the idea of wandering, and the phenomenon of repetition and consequently wasting time. It functions as a loop: the film begins at the end, disorganised and discontinuous: we see glimpses of it at the beginning, then understand in the middle of the film that it is written by one of the characters, before being revealed completely at the end. The part in the mountain is very calm and slow, while the urban part is sharply cut, and narrative. In the mountains, the point of view is almost that of nature, observing our characters. Whereas in the city, the point of view is that of our characters interacting with their environment. At this point using a more mobile camera, in closer proximity to our characters. Yet, certain symbols respond to each other in both environments, creating a silent link between the stories. |
